Belkasoft X Corporate solves exactly this problem. It includes everything that X Forensic offers, and adds the tools needed for internal investigations, incident response, and eDiscovery – including network-based evidence collection.

With Remote Acquisition, you secure evidence from remote computers and mobile devices without anyone needing to be on-site. An agent is deployed on the target system, and data collection runs over a secure connection.

The deployment covers common network constellations: endpoints in the same address space as the Remote Acquisition server, endpoints outside of it, and constellations where both sides are behind routers. For Windows environments, the WMI route is also available.

For incidents on Windows systems, X Corporate provides its own module: It searches for signs of compromise and integrates malware analysis via VirusTotal and ClamAV.

Those who work with their own detection rules can directly implement YARA and Sigma rules. This allows knowledge from internal threat intelligence to be incorporated into forensic analysis instead of keeping it separate.

According to the manufacturer, X Corporate is aimed at larger companies with their own DFIR team and at service providers who offer DFIR as a service. Authorities get the appropriate edition with Belkasoft X Forensic – also available in our shop.
