Netgate 4200/6100 1U Rack Mount Kit

THE 1U RACK MOUNT KIT ENABLES EASY, SECURE AND QUICK INSTALLATION OF THE NETGATE 4100 OR NETGATE 6100 SECURITY GATEWAY APPLIANCE IN A STANDARD 19-INCH SERVER RACK.

The Netgate 4100/6100 family devices are passively cooled to ensure quiet operation when used in a desktop or rackmount configuration. This is a system specifically designed and manufactured for rack mounting:

• Fits completely into the 1U height range.
• Allows other devices to be mounted directly above or below the Netgate system.
• Maximize critical airflow with the 4100/6100's integrated chassis heatsink.
• Move access to the USB ports from the side of the device to the front and use a specially molded USB 3.0 cable to enable convenient remote access to the Netgate 4100/6100's USB ports.
• The removable front panel protects the USB cables and power supply from accidental disconnection while still allowing easy access.
• An attractive, lightweight yet robust mounting system made from anodized Type II aluminum with laser engraved logo.
• Securely attach the Netgate 4100/6100 to the custom-made housing using stainless steel screws via the 4 built-in mounting points.

• Anodized 5052 aluminum rack mount with removable front panel
• USB 3.0 panel mount extension cable with hardware
• 4x main housing screws
• 1x screw for front panel
• 4x cable ties (2 large, 2 small)

YOU ALSO NEED:

• Netgate 4100 or Netgate 6100
• Mounting material specifically for your rack system.
  
  Due to the wide variety of rack fasteners, cage nuts, rack screws and similar fastenersnotin this kitcontain. Please select the appropriate fasteners for your rack installation. If in doubt, contact a qualified installer.

• Netgate 4100/6100 systems are passively cooled and use the bottom case as a heatsink. Please note that it may feel warm when in use.
• Netgate 4100/6100 systems can be rack mounted with other equipment directly above or below the Netgate system. Heat sources located immediately below or in direct contact with the bottom (chassis) of the 4100/6100 system should have a surface temperature of less than 40°C.
• Netgate 4100/6100 systems have been tested under the same ambient temperatures as desktop systems when installed in a rack in this configuration.
