BitLocker with TPM, even with a PIN set

Decrypts BitLocker-protected devices with a TPM or fTPM security chip, even if a PIN is set. Passware Kit 2026 v3 added PIN recovery via the Magic Drive method, which tries the PIN directly on the device; this requires a single USB drive.

Macs with T2 chip and EFI password

Recovers passwords for all Macs with Apple T2 Security Chip and decrypts APFS images. A set EFI firmware password that prevents image creation can be reset or immediately removed. Recovery requires a connection via USB-C or Thunderbolt.
